Neuhaus unveils their Vegan collection
Let your taste buds embark on a new plant-based adventure as Neuhaus combines tradition with innovation. Although we’ve been crafting fine chocolates since 1857, our focus has always been to push the boundaries of Belgian chocolate-making. Today, we’re thrilled to introduce our latest creation: the Vegan Collection.
Our Maîtres Chocolatiers have crafted their plant-based pralines using 64% Peruvian chocolate, replacing milk fat with chickpea protein concentrate for both ‘milk’ and white chocolate alternatives. Additionally, they’ve refined the caramel filling by substituting coconut fat for milk fat, pea protein for dairy, and incorporating a fruit puree of tangerine and yuzu to maintain the signature ganache texture and flavour. As one of the first vegan pralines on the market, we’re welcoming a new community of chocolate lovers into the Neuhaus family, allowing everyone to experience the best of Belgian craftsmanship.
This collection features five distinct pralines, carefully designed to showcase the richness of plant-based ingredients:
Ganache yuzu ginger
A bold dark chocolate shell filled with a vibrant yuzu and ginger ganache, topped with a creamy layer of white-coloured chocolate.
Caramel pecan
A velvety caramel ganache with crunchy pecans, encased in dark chocolate, and topped with a beautiful, burgundy-coloured chocolate.
caramel coffee
A rich caramel ganache with coffee, enveloped in dark chocolate and finished with a smooth coffee-coloured chocolate top.
Ganache earl gray
A fragrant Earl Grey and mandarin ganache wrapped in dark chocolate, completed with a bright, orange-coloured chocolate top for a citrusy twist.
Hazelnut praliné
A delectable praline featuring hazelnut praliné combined with vegan milk chocolate, available exclusively in Neuhaus boutiques.
To celebrate this exciting launch, we hosted an event at Mix in Brussels, where guests sampled the pralines and shared their thoughts. The verdict? Our vegan pralines stand shoulder to shoulder with our classics—and, most importantly, they taste amazing. Neuhaus Vegan Collection proves that indulgence and plant-based options can coexist without compromise.
